Description

Did you know 70% of women experience some kind of trauma in their life? Although it may not be initially apparent, the lasting effects of trauma on the brain can impact employee performance, customer relations, and even your own day-to-day work. Join Katie Steck as she explores how the brain reacts to trauma and discover how you can use this information to better navigate your business world!
Katie Steck’s passion is applying psychophysiological science to improve everyday life. She has used her experience at BYU’s stress management, addiction, and biomedical research labs to springboard into delivering educational presentations to domestic and international audiences.

With a master’s degree in clinical psychology, Katie has experience working with trauma survivors and individuals with severe mental health issues. Currently at The Younique Foundation, she empowers parents and caregivers to reduce the risk of child sexual abuse.
