The Utah Marketing Association today announced it will host a
workshop series for Utah businesses. The interactive workshops, which are scheduled to take place on the first Wednesday of every month, will focus on the intersection of digital and traditional marketing. The first workshop is scheduled to take place on August 7, at 7 p.m. at Impact Hub Salt Lake. The event is sponsored by Utah startups Zampi and Arvua, in partnership with Impact Hub Salt Lake.
All Utah business owners are invited to attend the series, which is free and open to the public. Startup founders Keeton Alder and Stuart Derman will explain marketing strategies and share tips about marketing tactics, including SEO (search engine optimization), web design, PPC for Google and Facebook ads, and social media. Business owners who attend the workshop series will walk away knowing how to easily set up, run, and manage time-efficient marketing campaigns.
“We noticed a lot of small businesses are ill-equipped to manage the marketing side of their business. They lack the time and funds to run effective marketing campaigns,” said Keeton Alder, co-founder of the Utah Marketing Association and founder of Zampi. “We’re going to teach attendees shortcuts so they can grow their business without spending all their time trying to figure marketing out.”
The two-hour kick-off event will lay the groundwork for the entire workshop series. Attendees will learn how to structure their marketing initiatives to meet their specific needs. In subsequent workshops, the group will use one business a month as a case study to learn about and apply marketing techniques.
Utah businesses can RSVP for the event on Meetup . The workshop series includes networking time, lessons from top marketing professionals, and interactive activities.
