She has trained with some of the most recognized coaches and therapists in the world; Tony Robbins, Cloe Madanas, Mark and Magalia Peysha and Dr. Bradley Nelson just to name a few. Kristie is currently studying for her Board Certification with the ICF (International Coaching Federation). Her own personal philosophy was forged from conquering breast cancer. Kristie was diagnosed with a late stage breast cancer in 2006. Instead of chemotherapy, radiation and drug therapy, she chose natural means of healing. She faithfully followed her healing plan for 8 months then chose to have the golf-ball size tumor removed along with a few lymph nodes. To her delight along with her doctors, the pathology report indicated the tumor was dissolving. It was almost entirely void of live cancer cells and only a trace of cancer remained in 2 lymph nodes. A bi-lateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction left a new challenge of accepting and appreciating the new body she had. The light and understanding that came from the next stage of Kristie’s recovery was pivotal in guiding her to where she is now. Kristie is married with 4 children snd has 2 grandchildren with another on the way. She has lived all over the US and spent most of her life in Western New York. She currently resides in Utah and has a private practice in Pleasant Grove, Utah. Kristie spent several years professionally acting and modeling for magazines, television, stage and video, and brings her experience to the stage once again teaching workshops and seminars. She is currently writing her first book and fully intends to travel the world sharing the lessons and insights she has gained. To this day, Kristie has gratefully and miraculously remained healthy and cancer free. For more information visit: http://www.KristieSecrist.com. Christi Youd : Life, Wellness, & Relationship Coach; Founder & President of “Your Truth Connection, LLC” Former Radio Host of "Unleashing the Excellence Within You" Published Author of three books, numerous articles, and her monthly E-zine Professional Speaker from the stage, over the airwaves, or in numerous periodicals such as the “New York Times” & “Readers Digest.” Her story is featured in Stephen M.R. Covey's book, "The Speed of Trust" In 1990 Christi was diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) & with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). For 25 years, she proactively sought out solutions including professional counseling & medications, electro-convulsive-therapy (ECT), and moving into residential recovery centers. Due to the chronic nature of her anxiety, her body developed physical conditions impacting her structural, muscular, neurological, cognitive, digestive, hormonal, lymphatic, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems that were at times completely disabling. Christi came to understand that it is by applying five key principles that one is able to shift their internal and/or external experience in life. Those principle's are: truly loving one's self; owning one's responsibility; directing one's focus; purposely replacing one's thoughts/self-talk/perspective; and embracing the need for practice. Through much study, experimentation, and willingness to remain open, she has identified a number of simple-yet-effective actions that require minimal resources, personal time, help from others, or natural abilities. Christi's ability to overcome fear; add humor; proactively seek and develop solutions; advance ideas; convert abstract concepts into concrete and tangible representations; bridge the gap between knowledge and application; break down processes into duplicable steps; and provide demonstrations of reasonable results to expect all help facilitate a life-shifting experience for participants of her events. Her current writing project, "Returning to Wellness through Spirituality & Practicality" is due to to be released in June 2018. You can reach her at (801) 836-9577. Wendy P. She has always been an artist and began using her talents in the culinary world. Her career as a cake decorator started at the age of twelve and she later learned from masters like Colette Peters, Nicolas Lodge and Francis Kuyper. Wendy attended Culinary school at UVSC which is now UVU and certified as a Chef. She worked in restaurants and as a catering chef, eventually owning her own catering company. Wendy’s health gradually declined until a pivotal point at age 39 when the list of symptoms she was suffering from was extensive and the pain became so unbearable that she contemplated taking her own life. Suffering from chronic fatigue for 28 years, debilitating neck and back pain, brain fog, stuttering, Grave's disease, and hypoglycemia to name a few, she was desperate for answers. They came in the form of raw food. Wendy found evidence in books and online of the healing power of plants and she became passionate about understanding and applying her new found knowledge to her own body Wendy began eating a high amount of raw foods and using herbs medicinally. She attended the School of Natural Healing and certified as a Master Herbalist and went on to learn from Karen Knowler of England and certified as a Raw Food Coach. As a result of changing her eating habits and incorporating an entirely new lifestyle, she is now symptom, pain and medication free. It was difficult for her to give up her passion of cake decorating and cooking the French way, but the high quality of life she now enjoys is more than worth it. She educates all ages through hands-on classes, speaking at various events, and has been featured on television, radio, newspaper and she writes regularly for a magazine. She has authored several books and online programs to help others learn how to eat and live happier lives. She lives what she teaches. Wendy is a wife and mother of four beautiful children.
