Ethical Rules for Licensed Paralegal Practitioners (LPP)

Description

The course is required for anyone planning to practice as an LPP in Utah and must be completed before taking the LPP Ethics Licensing Exam offered by the Utah State Bar. This course explores the ethical standards for LPP’s. The focus will be on the ethical rules for LPP’s as well as actual problems that LPP’s will confront in their practice. Topics include the unauthorized practice of law, conflicts of interest, confidentiality, client funds and professionalism. The disciplinary process will also be addressed.
