In this luncheon\, Dustin Wheeler will share some technologies he uses to keep up with current information and events without becoming overwhelmed. He'll also show how he has used social media tools to share articles he's read\, showcase his expertise\, and network with other bright minds in the accounting profession.\n\n \n\nDustin Wheeler is a tax manager at Hawkins Cloward & Simister\, a CPA firm in Orem\, UT.  He holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from BYU-Idaho and a Masters of Accountancy degree from University of Nevada-Las Vegas. In addition to providing tax and accounting services\, he enjoys helping business owners implement new technologies that improve business processes and the quality of accounting records. He has been a member of Intuit's QuickBooks ProAdvisor program since 2008 and is experienced with several accounting programs\, including the latest web-based entrants into the accounting software market. His involvement in social media has led to many networking opportunities and national recognition. Dustin has contributed to Intuit Accountant News Central and the CPA Practice Advisor\, a digital and print magazine covering technology and practice management for accounting and tax professionals.  He was honored to be included in the CPA Practice Advisor's 2011\, 2012 and 2013 lists of 40 under 40 tax and accounting profession leaders.
