She has been in the insurance industry since 1972 and was previously named one of Utah Magazine's top 30 women in Utah and received a Pathfinder Award and Athena Award\, given to just one woman each year by the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce. At an early age\, Peggy Larsen experienced significant life challenges of addiction\, domestic abuse and cancer. As she developed her career\, Peggy turned her personal experiences into professional application that helped her lead and become WCF Insurance's first female executive. She recently published a memoir\, which chronicles her experiences and aims to help struggling mothers and young women in need through Amberco Services\, a foundation she established in honor of her late daughter\, Amber.
