As an executive at School Improvement Network\, Sara operationalized research-based\, new media learning products in K-12 education through innovative technology platforms. As head of business development and a director of product development\, Sara focused on opportunity management\, cross-functional execution\, and strategic partnerships - where she conceptualized and directed new product innovation and video production. She has deep knowledge on professional learning and on policy trends that affect education. She operationalized a long-term partnership with leadership at the Council of Chief State School Officers.\n\nSara is also VP of Strategic Development for Patent Law Works LLC\, a silicon-valley based intellectual property law firm. Prior to this\, she was a Shareholder and patent attorney at Workman Nydegger where she focused on strategic protection of software applications. She has a J.D. degree\, cum laude\, from the J.
