StACC instructors include physicians\, pharmacists\, respiratory therapists\, flight medics\, and flight nurses. 24 different critical care subjects are covered including: ventilator management\, lab data interpretation\, radiographic image analysis\, 12 lead EKG interpretation\, hemodynamic monitoring\, circulatory assist device management\, advanced pharmacology\, and more. StACC is divided into two sections. The first section provides in-depth instruction in the 24 different subjects with lectures\, reading assignments\, and quizzes The second section includes a summarized review of the specific content students will see on national critical care certification exams and a practice exam with answer rationales. StACC is approved by the International Board for Specialty Certifications (IBSC) for 60 CME units toward renewal of the FPC or CCPC. StACC CME units are also recognized by the State of Utah Bureau of EMS.
