DESCRIPTION:The Utah Valley Chamber of Commerce has selected Elder Dallin H. Oaks\, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints\, and the late Ray Noorda as its Pillar of the Valley Award recipients for 2014. They will be honored March 28 at the fourth annual gala to be held at the Utah Valley Convention Center.\n\n\n\nThe Pillar of the Valley is Utah Valley's premier business gala.  Each year the Chamber honors a person or persons who have significantly contributed in some fashion to Utah Valley's business\, educational\, cultural or civic climate.  This is a black tie-optional event that is first class in every way.  Past recipients have included Blake Roney\, Alan and Karen Ashton\, LaVell and Patti Edwards and Stephen R. Covey (posthumously).
