DESCRIPTION:Connect with and hear from elected officials\, business and community leaders\, and academic experts on ways to address poverty\, improve our services\, and build vibrant\, equitable communities throughout Utah. The event will include an immersive poverty simulation that helps people to better understand the challenges and barriers that people face when living in poverty in order to implement better practices that create better opportunities for people to obtain financial stability. Register at knowpovertysummit.eventbrite.com\n\nWe encourage business leaders\, company staff\, community partners\, advocates\, and elected officials to join us to foster connection and collaboration throughout the community. Anyone from the general public may attend!\n\nVarious nonprofit and community organizations will be hosting booths to provide information about their services and impact in the community. Space is limited to a handful of booths.
