DESCRIPTION:This Lunch and Learn we will hear about writing for charity. We have invited some wonderful children's authors and a representative from the Childrens Litrature Association of Utah to come and speak at this event. \n\nOur Speakers\n\n \n\nMette Ivie Harrison\n\nMette Ivie Harrison is the author of Mira\, Mirror (2004\, Viking)\,The Princess and the Hound (2007\, HarperCollins / Eos)\, and the forthcoming The Princess and the Bear (2009\, HarperCollins / Eos)\, and the forthcoming The Princess and the Snowbird (2010 HarperTeen). She has a new trilogy beginning with Two Princesses that will be coming out in January 2011. It is about two princesses from rival kingdoms who have to learn to balance their loyalty to each other and their loyalty to their lands. COOL DADDY RAT received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly and School Library Journal. Some of these articles have been reprinted by national foundations.
