Friends for Sight

About Us

Friends for Sight is a Utah nonprofit dedicated to removing barriers to vision care so every Utahn can see clearly, learn confidently, and explore boldly.
For nearly 70 years, we’ve delivered free vision screenings, comprehensive eye exams, and prescription glasses directly to communities across the state. Through innovative programs like SightFest—a one-day, high-impact pop up vision clinic—we bring dozens of eye doctors, volunteers, and resources right into underserved schools and neighborhoods. In just one day, a single school day SightFest can provide free perscripton glasses and eye exams to more than 100 students who otherwise would go without.
Why it matters: over 30,000 Utah kids are struggling to see the board, read, or fully participate in class simply because they face too many barriers to accessible vision care like By partnering with schools, families, and organizations, we ensure that clear vision and all the opportunities it unlocks—is within reach for every child.
We invite Utah Valley businesses and leaders to join us in this work. Whether through sponsorships, employee volunteerism, or advocacy, your involvement fuels life-changing impact. Together, we can expand access to vision care, strengthen communities, and open doors of discovery for generations to come.
? Discovery begins with accessible vision care.
