One in five Utah adults has had serious thoughts of suicide, and Utah’s suicide rate is consistently higher than the national average. Dr. Greg Hudnall, Executive Director of Hope4Utah, recognizes the tragedy of lives lost to suicide and has created a program to break the silence and expose deadly secretes. Dr. Hudnall’s vision is to educate the Utah community about the signs of suicidal behavior and how to respond to individuals who express these symptoms. According to the Department of Workforce Services in Utah, over 90% of Utah adults are employed. By providing free trainings for all Utah business owners and employees, Dr. Hudnall hopes to give the community the tools they need in order to save lives by knowing how to approach the topic of suicide, and how to approach a suicidal individual. The Hope4Businesses training team is happy to accommodate your employees however they can, and you can sign up by contacting Greg Hudnall at greg4hope@gmail.com or Cathy Bledsoe at cathyb@provo.edu.
